Team Homies is a performance-driven training community built by The Human Body Lab for athletes and individuals who want more than generic workouts. We combine goal-oriented programming, data-informed testing, and real-world competition to help you build capacity, resilience, and confidence—inside and outside the gym.
This is not about training harder. It’s about training smarter and showing up prepared.
Who Team Homies Is For
Team Homies is for individuals who want structure, accountability, and measurable progress. Whether you’re new to competitive events or looking to level up your performance, our coaching model meets you where you are and helps you move forward.
Who It’s Not For
Team Homies is not for those who are comfortable staying the same or who rely on others to do the work for them. Athletes should be capable of completing workouts independently or with a partner and committed to the process.
We believe progress is personal.
The goal isn’t to beat others—it’s to make your future stronger than your past.

You choose the event. We design the programming. Our programming is designed around hybrid, functional, and endurance-based events, including:
- DEKA
- HYROX
- Spartan
- 5K, Half Marathon, and Marathon races
- Deadly Dozen
- Functional Fitness & Hybrid Racing Events
Getting Started
Team Homies Buy-In
$250 one-time buy-in, which includes:
- Full baseline performance testing through The Human Body Lab
- Individual performance consult
- Race kit
Baseline testing alone is normally $300
TRAINING PLAN OPTIONS
- Individual Training Plan: $125/month
- Partner Shared Training Plan: $75/month per person
Partners may share a plan when training for the same event.

Monthly training PLANS INCLUDE
Team Homies athletes receive ongoing coaching and support rooted in The Human Body Lab’s science-backed approach:
- Monthly event-specific programming integrated with Hybrid House training
- Customized training delivered through the Final Surge app
- Quarterly performance testing & needs analysis, including:
- VO₂max
- Anaerobic power
- Fatigue index
- Movement screening
- Quarterly race perks and education, including:
- Q1: Free DEKA Anaheim race code + Nutrition for Performance support
- Q2: TBD
- Weekly email check-ins
- Access to HBL Open Gym and Team Training Events when offered
