Summer is in full swing, schedules are packed, vacations are happening, and life is moving fast—but this is where consistency separates those who maintain from those who transform. We've got a huge month ahead with GRIT Week, workshops, challenges, social events, and a brand-new training block right around the corner along with the drop of our new Breakthrough nutrition program. GRIT WEEK IS BACK -
July wraps up with everyone's favorite week—GRIT Week.
Expect familiar testing themes, a few opportunities to showcase the progress you've made throughout the block, and of course... some brand-new tests to keep things interesting along with a new sticker drop. Whether you're chasing a PR, improving movement quality, or simply seeing how far you've come, this is your chance to put your hard work on display and to gather those numbers and data for the new Drop It Like It's Hot Q3 Training Block.

The One More MEP Challenge is back.
Here's the challenge:

If you've participated before, you know how much fun this challenge becomes. It's also a great challenge, a way to kick start Fall and an accountability tool to stay on track. If you haven't, now's your chance.
Grab a team, grab a heart rate monitor (text Timmie to snag one at 562.719.1597) and get ready to party fitness style.
Myzone belts must be ordered by Friday, July 17 to ensure you're ready for kickoff.

BOLSA CHICA BONFIRE & BEACH HANGOUT
Saturday, July 25
We'll be hanging out at Bolsa Chica all day and wrapping things up with a bonfire in the evening.
Come for an hour or stay all day. Bring your family, friends, beach chairs, games, snacks, and whatever else makes for a great summer day.
This is one of our favorite opportunities to spend time together outside the gym and continue building the community that makes this place so special.

As we head into GRIT Week and prepare for our next block, we want to take a moment to acknowledge just how incredible this training cycle has been.
We've watched members hit PRs, move better, build confidence, lose weight, gain strength, improve conditioning, and prove to themselves that consistency works. The results we've seen throughout this block have been nothing short of inspiring, and we couldn't be more proud of the effort everyone has put in.
But perhaps most importantly, this block is another reminder that fitness is a long game.
Real results aren't built in a week. They aren't built in a month. They're built through years of showing up, trusting the process, and staying the course when motivation fades. The strongest, healthiest, most resilient people in our community aren't the ones chasing shortcuts—they're the ones who keep coming back.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of that journey.
