May at the House
SKY'S OUT THIGHS OUT - SUN'S OUT GUNS OUT
Welcome to our new 12 week training block.
Hypertrophy focused with higher volume on the menu.
Our new 12-week training block launches May 4 and is built to get you stronger, more muscular, and summer ready through intentional hypertrophy-focused programming. This cycle emphasizes higher training volume, progressive overload, and a new conditioning mesocycle designed to support both performance and physique goals. We’re also bringing bench press back 2x per week for the first 8 weeks to drive upper body strength and muscle growth. As always, this isn’t random workouts—it’s structured, progressive training built around education, strength, and results. Sky's out thighs out, sun's out guns out… let’s build this summer together.

THE HH FAMOUS MAY PHOTO CONTEST IS BACK
May means one thing at The House… our famous annual Photo Contest is back. Get creative with those post-workout pics, rally your crew, and show us how you do it at Hybrid House. No videos, pics only. No edits, just as is. Those are the only rules. At the end of the month, we’ll put the finalists up for a vote on IG and the winning shot earns a special prize — getting taken out by yours truly, owner Timmie Brann. You know how we do in May… bring the energy, bring the creativity, and let’s see who takes the crown. Let’s go homies.

BOOK YOUR GOAL REVIEW π
New training blocks are the ideal time to book a Goal Review with one of our staff members.
This is free and your time to make sure you are getting the most out of The House.
Goal Reviews are included in your membership, and after your initial 30/60/90-day check-ins, we recommend scheduling one every quarter.
Why?
To make sure you’re staying on track, adjusting when needed, and continuing to progress.
And also because we believe goals matter — and we don’t really believe in “maintenance.” We believe in progress.
This is also a great time to add an InBody scan for $40 to get a clear picture of your body composition and track real change.
If you’re in a new block, this is your moment to realign, refocus, and make sure your training is working for you.
Use the link below to book yours today.
MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT
Member Code of Conduct – Hybrid House Gym
At Hybrid House Gym, we train with structure, intention, and a strong community focus. As a member, we ask that you commit to the following:
1. Show Up With Intent
Be on time, ready to train, and committed to the session. Consistency builds results.
2. Respect the Space
Book classes with the community in mind so everyone has a spot. Put equipment away, wipe it down, and leave the gym better than you found it.
3. Respect the Coaches
Follow coaching cues, ask questions when unsure, train safely, and let the coach be the coach.
A reminder—you are not here to coach others; you are here for YOU.
4. Respect Each Other
Encourage effort, celebrate wins, and lead with positivity. You never know what someone may be going through, so support each other in the gym and beyond.
Loud cheering and screaming is not our vibe or style. Encouragement and support along the way are highly encouraged.
5. Train Smart
Check your ego at the door. Lift with control, progress with purpose, and prioritize longevity.
6. Be Accountable
Honor your bookings, communicate absences, and take ownership of your goals.
7. Keep It Inclusive
All levels, abilities, genders, races, sexual orientations, and backgrounds are welcome here. No intimidation, harassment, or discrimination—ever.
8. Be Present
Stay engaged during whiteboard briefings—for your coach, your training, and your community.
9. Safety First
Report injuries, follow facility rules, stay aware of your surroundings, and never compromise safety for a PR.
10. Represent the Community
What happens here builds strength beyond the gym. Train in a way that reflects pride in this community.
Train hard. Train smart. Be a good human.
**You can also find this posted at both gym locations.

LONG BEACH PRIDE - MAY 17, 2026
If you haven’t already heard, we got into the Long Beach Pride Parade this year—thanks to a true team effort. Yes, you read that right… we will be in the parade!
We’ve been allocated two trucks and 30 participants, and while we don’t have full details yet (arrival times, staging info, etc.), we should get those about two weeks out.
What we do know right now:
Our Retro Row location will be home base
We’ll have an EZ-Up set up on the parade route
A crew of 30 will be representing Hybrid House along the route
There’s nothing you need to do just yet—just save the date and stay tuned for more info as it comes in.
More details coming soon.
Summer is here, yeah we can't believe it either, and it’s easy to get pulled in a hundred different directions—but this is where consistency matters most. Keep showing up for yourself inside the gym, and don’t miss the chance to enjoy everything we’re building outside of it too.
Train hard, stay grounded, and make space for both growth and community this season. We’re doing this together.
